As well as being an environmentally friendly option, water mist fire extinguishers work by producing a mist curtain, which provides intense cooling to the fire, cutting off the supply of oxygen and suffocating the flames. The fine spray of water leaves less residue than many other fire extinguishers, making them a great choice for many applications including hospitals, commercial kitchens, museums, and offices.
