The Exitguard® 200 Series is the ideal solution for security of fire exit doors. An integral high power sounder is activated when the door is opened to warn those in the vicinity that security has been breached. Manufactured in the UK by Hoyles Electronic Developments, the Exitguard offers advanced features including programmable delays, multiple alarm tones, and comprehensive monitoring capabilities.
The EX204 is battery powered, perfect for locations where a separate power supply is not available and the protected door is opened infrequently. Depending on usage, the 6 x AA batteries supplied can last up to 3 years, with the unit continuing to function for at least two weeks after a battery fault indication.
The EX205 is 12Vdc powered, designed for situations where the protected door may be opened frequently or the integral sounder may need to sound for extended periods. This version includes a logic output signal and volt free relay contacts for separately signalling ON/OFF status and alarm conditions at remote points.
The EX206 is 240Vac mains powered, suitable for doors that may be opened frequently or where the sounder may need to sound for long periods. This version features a logic output signal, volt free relay contact for alarm conditions, and is supplied with 6 x AA alkaline batteries for standby power.
