What is the difference between the shallow base and deep base models?
The shallow base model (BF433C/CC/SR) is IP21C rated and designed for indoor use only, whilst the deep base model (BF433C/CC/DR) is IP33C rated and can be used in covered outdoor areas. The deep base model is also slightly larger and heavier.
What fire alarm panels are compatible with this VAD?
The device is compatible with C-TEC’s CFP, FP, MFP and EP203 conventional fire alarm panels, as well as virtually all other manufacturers’ conventional panels. However, testing on third-party panels is recommended before installation.
What does W-2.75-9 VAD rating mean?
The W-2.75-9 rating indicates the device provides wall-mounted coverage with minimum 0.4 lux illumination over a 2.75 metre wide by 9 metre long cuboid area. It’s also certified as W-4-4, meaning it can cover a 4 x 4 metre area when required.
