Designed for direct connection to an XP95 addressable loop, the retainer allows individual doors or groups of doors to be controlled through the fire alarm panel’s cause-and-effect programming. This supports targeted evacuation and lockdown strategies while removing the need for a separate mains-powered door-retention supply.
A 200 N holding force, integrated loop isolator and low-current permanent magnet technology provide reliable, fail-safe operation. When connected to a compliant control panel, the device is also suitable for BS 7273-4 Category A critical actuation installations.
