Summary
The Baldwin Boxall white plastic toilet alarm kit is a fully compliant BS8300:2018 system for the OmniCare and CARE2 EVC systems.
Additional components can be added to the system to provide an ‘assistance call’ style system.
Each Kit Contains
- Pull switch – white – ceiling mounted pull switch with two fully compliant ‘G’ pulls.
- Reset point – white – reset button with a powerful LED and sounder.
- Light/sounder – white – overdoor triangular lens with an integral sounder to attract attention.
- WC sign – self-adhesive, vinyl, disabled toilet sign.
Features
- Call acknowledge feature – both audible and visual – when a call is accepted, reassuring the caller that help is on the way.
- Up to two toilet alarm kits can be connected to one point on the EVC control panel.
- Toilet alarms are monitored and battery-backed via the EVC system. There is also an automatic ‘self test’ facility which ensures that all sounders and LEDs are fully operational.
- The kit is available with either a white or stainless steel finish. Alternatively, the parts can be purchased separately to enable a combination of finishes to be applied if required.
- The kits are connected to the EVC system as follows:
- OmniCare – via a repeater unit (BVOCRIF) on the loop
- CARE2 – directly to the control console.
