The CA736 is a loop-powered single-way flat interface designed for use with C-TEC’s EVAC-ALERT system. It is engineered to control one or more evacuation alert devices located inside a flat, ensuring reliable communication and control during emergencies. This interface utilises hard-wired technology, providing a dependable solution for evacuation alert systems.
Compatible with C-TEC’s self-testing evacuation alert devices, the CA736 offers a monitored conventional sounder circuit that detects open and short circuit faults. These faults are indicated on the interface and reported back to the host EVAC-ALERT panel, ensuring prompt attention and resolution. The interface is designed to mount on a standard UK 35mm double gang back box outside the flat, complying with BS 8629 Clause 8.
