How does the tamper detection work?

The unit features lid open and rear anti-vandal tamper detection with a volt-free contact output. The tamper contact is only closed when both the PSU is securely fixed to the wall and the lid is closed properly.

What voltage does the PSU output during normal and battery operation?

During normal mains operation, the PSU outputs 13.4-14.2VDC (13.8VDC nominal). When operating on battery backup, the output voltage ranges from 10.0-12.3VDC depending on battery charge level.

Is this PSU suitable for outdoor installation?

No, this PSU is NOT suitable for outdoor installation. It should only be installed indoors in a dry environment with humidity up to 95% RH non-condensing.

What happens when there’s an overload or short circuit?
