This is delivered through a 1/2.7″ SC8238 CMOS sensor rated to 0.06 lux in colour with automatic gain control (AGC) on, dropping to true black and white with 20m infrared (IR) support when light disappears completely. The metal turret housing carries an IP66 rating for exposed mounting positions, and the fixed 2.8mm lens gives a wide 111.4° horizontal field of view suited to compact rooms and shopfronts.
For fitting, it pairs with the Serage Base for Small Dome and Bullet or the Serage Wall Mount Bracket for Small Dome, depending on the mounting position required.

FAQ
Will this camera work with my existing coax-based recorder, or do I need to re-cable?
The SRDT8FB outputs AHD (Analogue High Definition), TVI (Transport Video Interface), CVI (High Definition Composite Video Interface) and CVBS (Composite Video Baseband Signal, i.e. standard-definition analogue), so it should run on existing coax without re-cabling. Framerates vary by format – up to 8MP at 15fps on AHD, 12.5fps on TVI/CVI, or 960H on CVBS – and you can mix it with older CVBS cameras on the same DVR, though those channels will record at lower resolution.
Does it need extra lighting to get colour images at night?
No, the sensor is rated to 0.06 lux in colour with AGC (automatic gain control) on, so it holds colour in genuinely low light without a supplementary lamp. Once light drops further it switches to black and white and relies on its own IR (infrared) illumination, rated to 20m, so plan sightlines accordingly for fully dark areas.
Can I run audio over the same coax as video?
Yes, audio is carried over the coaxial cable, so a separate audio core is not needed. The camera features a built-in microphone with a 7m pickup range, though you will still need a compatible recorder to receive and process the audio signal.
