Summary
The C-TEC CA740 is a 4-way conventional zone to CAST addressable zone converter designed to facilitate the upgrade of multi-zone conventional fire alarm systems to an addressable CAST system. This innovative device utilises the existing zonal wiring of conventional systems, allowing for a seamless transition to modern addressable technology.
With the ability to accommodate four individual zonal circuits, the CA740 supports CAST addressable devices on separate isolated circuits. It is ideal for retrofit applications, such as nursing homes, where conventional fire alarm devices are being replaced while retaining existing wiring.
The CA740 is compliant with BS 5839-1 standards, ensuring safety and reliability in fire alarm systems.
