Summary

The C-TEC CP416 is a programmable optical CAST-PRO fire detector engineered to quickly detect real fires while effectively minimizing false alarms. This advanced detector is certified to EN54-7 & 17 standards, ensuring high reliability and performance in fire detection.

Utilizing MASC™ (Miniature Advanced Smoke Detection Chamber) and AFFIRM™ algorithms, the CP416 offers exceptional tolerance to false alarms while enhancing the detection of genuine fire conditions. It features drift compensation functionality and an onboard short circuit loop isolator for added safety and reliability.

With two ultra-bright red LED indicating strips, the CP416 provides clear visual alerts. It offers two detection modes—normal and high sensitivity—allowing for flexibility based on the environment. The detector operates with a low alarm current of <1mA and a typical quiescent current of 570µA at 40V DC, making it efficient for long-term use.
