Summary
The CHQ-CP2 is a loop powered single input monitor unit designed for use as a call point module in special applications such as addressable key-switches and explosion-proof call points. It is configured by default as a call point by the Fire Alarm Control Panel. The unit comprises a single PCB with several flying leads, which should be connected according to the provided wiring diagram. For field usage, it must be mounted in an appropriate box to comply with the European “CE” directive. An optional red LED can be installed to flash when the unit is polled by the control panel and remain continuously illuminated when the input is activated and latched until reset.
