Summary
The LDM-519-SEN-N module is a sophisticated device designed to monitor a zonal length of Resettable Analogue Linear Heat Detection Cable (LHDC) for elevated temperature (Fire) conditions and Fault Status (Open & Short Circuit). It offers two adjustable levels of alarm (A1 & A2), one of which can be optionally used as a “Pre Alarm”. This module provides early warning of hot spots and fire conditions on short sections of the overall LHDC zone length, with a maximum LHDC zone length for Resettable Analogue cable being 500m.
Constructed with a coaxial design, the Resettable Analogue LHDC is used alongside an End Of Line (EOL) functional unit. The modular form of the unit allows it to be provided in various bespoke housings and easily integrated into special control panels, making it suitable for a wide range of applications including cable tunnels, ducts, mezzanines, and more.
