Patol Resettable Analogue Linear Heat Detection Cable

SKU: Patol-Resettable-Analogue-LHDC
SKU: Patol-Resettable-Analogue-LHDC Category: Brand:

Summary

The Patol Resettable Analogue Linear Heat Detection Cable (LHDC) is engineered to provide early detection of fire and overheating in environments where traditional detection methods are not feasible due to environmental constraints or cost. This cable is capable of monitoring extensive single zonal lengths and can trigger alarms for hot spots on small sections of the cable.

Constructed with a copper-coated steel central conductor, the cable features an inner insulation with a negative temperature coefficient (NTC), a tinned copper braid layer, and a flame retardant polyethylene (FRPE) sheath. The LHDC is used with an end of line functional unit and a zone monitoring unit or control panel equipped with an appropriate LHDC interface channel. It is suitable for hazardous areas when used with Intrinsically Safe Zener Barriers, and can be installed with interposing cables for remote monitoring.
