Apollo Intelligent Manual Call Point
£28.16 (inc VAT: £33.79)
Summary
The Apollo Intelligent Manual Call Point has been designed to operate on a loop of intelligent fire detection devices, providing reliable manual alarm activation for fire safety systems. An alarm is initiated by pressing the resettable element, with the manual call point signalling to the Control and Indicating Equipment using an interrupt feature within the Apollo digital protocol.
An alarm status is clearly indicated through the rotation of the resettable element, displaying yellow and black indication bars alongside a solid red LED. The manual call point can be easily reset from the front using the supplied reset key, whilst incorporating a short circuit isolator to ensure continued operation in the event of a loop fault.
Installation time is significantly reduced as all initial cabling is wired to a removable terminal block which fits neatly in the back of the manual call point. The device features a 170° viewable LED and is suitable for both semi-flush and surface mounting applications, with an IP44 rating for enhanced environmental protection.

FAQ
What protocols is the Intelligent Manual Call Point compatible with?
The Intelligent Manual Call Point is compatible with XP95, Discovery and CoreProtocol systems, allowing integration with a wide range of Apollo fire detection control panels.
How is the manual call point reset after activation?
The device can be easily reset from the front by inserting the supplied reset key into the front-facing LED, then turning clockwise until a positive click indicates the reset has occurred.
How is the device addressed on the loop?
The address of each call point is set at the commissioning stage by means of a DIL switch, allowing for simple configuration during installation.
What do the different LED indicators mean?
The LED provides multiple status indications: a solid red light indicates alarm status, a flashing yellow light indicates a fault condition, a flashing green light shows when the device is being polled, and a solid yellow light indicates isolator operation in the event of a short circuit on the loop.
What is the operating temperature range?
The Intelligent Manual Call Point can operate in temperatures ranging from -40°C to +70°C, making it suitable for both internal and external applications in varying environmental conditions.
Does the device include a short circuit isolator?
Yes, the Intelligent Manual Call Point incorporates a short circuit isolator which ensures its operation in the event of a short circuit fault on the loop, with isolator operation indicated by a solid yellow LED.
