Nittan Evolution High Output Sounder
Summary
The EV-HIOP-SDR-SCI is a Type B Outdoor High Output Sounder designed for use with the Evolution analogue addressable system devices. This robust device features an integral negative line short circuit isolator, ensuring continued communication even in the event of a fault. Its waterproof enclosure, rated IP65, makes it suitable for both indoor and outdoor installations.
The device’s address can be set using the EV-AD2-EXT handheld programmer, and it is designed to self-reset once a fault clears. It is important to note that the SCI variant is not compatible with the Advanced MxPro4 (Mx4000) Panel, and mixing positive and negative isolator styles on a system is not possible. All installations must adhere to the current IEE Wiring regulations and BS5839 Part 1 standards.
