Nittan Evolution High Output Sounder Beacon
Summary
The EV-HIOP-SB-SCI is a Type B Outdoor High Output Sounder Beacon featuring a high-power white LED. This device is designed for compatibility with Evolution analogue addressable system devices and includes an integral negative line short circuit isolator. Its IP65-rated waterproof enclosure makes it suitable for both indoor and outdoor installations.
The address of the device can be set using the EV-AD2-EXT handheld programmer. The short circuit isolator ensures system protection while maintaining communication from the opposite side, and it will automatically reset once the fault is cleared. Note that the SCI variant is not compatible with the Advanced MxPro4 (Mx4000) Panel, and mixing positive and negative isolator styles on a system is not feasible. All installations must comply with the current IEE Wiring regulations and BS5839 Part 1 standards.
